Developers may also choose to participate online only.
LIVE STREAMS AND AWARDS
All games selected for the showcase are included in a hosted trailer reel live stream. In 2025, commentary was provided by Justin Silverman of Retroware and Celia Schilling of Yacht Club Games.
The showcase also includes a live award show on the main stage, streamed online. Winners who are not attending in person will receive their award by mail and be asked to submit a short acceptance video.
Judging, nominations, and award decisions are handled by TooManyGames indie staff and anonymous industry professionals. Titles from Retroware, Mega Cat Studios, and Yacht Club Games are not eligible for awards due to conflicts of interest, but may still be accepted into the showcase.
