Attending the Convention

It depends what you want to see and experience. Please look at the schedule (available early June) and determine what you are most interested in. Most attendees come for all three days to not miss any events.

Most of our vendors do take credit cards, but some don't. It's always a good idea to bring some cash with you in case a vendor doesn't take a credit card. There are 2 ATMs inside of the Expo Center but they run out during our event. If you need to get cash out, there is a Wawa down the street.

Guest day to day availability will be posted on their guest pages. Once the schedule is out, you will be able to see times for panels and meet and greets. If you have any questions, please contact info@toomanygames.com.

Guest day to day meet and greet times will be posted on their individual pages and on the schedule once it's out (in early June). Once the schedule is out, you will be able to see times for meet and greets. Each guest determines their autograph cost (check their individual pages for prices). Guests range from $0 up to $100+ (for packages). Please note all guests autographs are subject to change.

YES! This is the preferred way to view our schedule. We have the ability to update this during the show, so this will provide you with the most accurate times for guests and panels. The schedule will be made available on Guidebook in early June.

Video game tournament list is not currently available. It will be available in early April.

All panels are included with your admission to the event. Some panels start to line up 1-2 hours before they start. Please check in with a volunteer in the area to see if there is a line already started for the panel or not.

Accessibility

You should ask for assistance if you have a medical or accessibility need. For example, if you have a broken foot and are using crutches to get around, you should ask for assistance. If you are tired from standing all day or have a large bulky costume, unfortunately, our Accessibility Desk will be unable to assist you.

Some medical or accessibility needs that would cover you are listed below. Note this is a small list and serves as examples. If you are unsure if you qualify - please contact us - info@toomanygames.com

  • Condition that limits movement or travel distance
  • A condition that causes pain while walking or standing for long periods of time
  • Heart or lung related conditions
  • Recent Surgery
  • Panic / Anxiety Disorders

Below are some examples that would not qualify for our assistance:

  • Tired
  • Broken Hand or Arm
  • Wearing a big costume (make sure you hydrate!)
  • Not feeling well

We want everyone to have a great time at TooManyGames. Regardless of the above examples, if you begin to feel unwell during the convention, take a break, get some water, or ask a friend or fellow convention attendee for help. If you experience a medical emergency, please call 911 immediately and alert a staff member in the area.

If it’s not easily apparent that you are in need of assistance, we will ask for some kind of explanation of your needs. It’s not required - but nondescript pieces of medical documentation will help us quickly offer accommodations specific to you.

Some examples of medical documentation would be:

  • a doctor's note on script paper
  • prescribed medication for condition in original container, with a label containing your name
  • a note from a hospital or clinic on letterhead or script paper
  • handicap parking identifier
  • Short note from a doctor, clinic, hospital, or therapist on company stationary dated prior to TooManyGames

If you choose to provide documentation, it only needs to indicate that you may need accommodations. We do not need any detailed medical information and are unwilling to accept it due to potential legal liability.

Yes, there are accessible parking spaces in front of the convention center along with on the sides of the building. TooManyGames in 2023 hosted over 20,000 people, so accessible parking availability may be limited.

No. We would love to provide one as this is a question we get a lot. The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is set up a little differently than normal convention centers. The convention center is a wide vast warehouse that is segregated into 5 different halls. There is no way to create a ‘mobile’ quiet room in this kind of space. There are only a few meeting rooms which are used by staff for operations.

Service animals that meet the ADA definition are permitted. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Emotional support animals are not permitted at our event. Service animals should be under the care of their owners during the event.

Yes. Both standard and folding seat canes are permitted in the entire convention center.

Yes. They are permitted in the entire convention center.

The Expo Center does not have wheelchairs or scooters available. Call them at (484) 382-3221 or email them at contact@phillyexpocenter.com for a list of local suppliers that will rent and deliver scooters to the facility.
