Applications will open on Friday, January 10th, and will close on Friday, February 7th, at 11:59 pm ET.

All submissions must include a trailer or other video showing live gameplay in action. Indie video games must also submit a playable demo so that our judges can play it. All submission materials for all games will be kept confidential & will not be shared with anyone outside of TooManyGames staff and judges.

No, partially completed games are acceptable. Most indie games that showcase at TooManyGames are not fully released yet and are still in a demo or early access phase.

Yes. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email from Google Forms, and that email includes a link to make changes. You may also email changes to [email protected]. Yes, the cost varies depending on the type of space you apply for, as well as whether you apply to showcase online only (only available for video games in 2025) or in-person. The costs are listed on the respective applications linked above, and all accepted games will receive payment instructions upon their acceptance.

If you are accepted to the online showcase (only available for video games in 2025), your game will be featured in the following places:

    • The official TooManyGames Steam event (to be launched before the end of May 2025). 2024 was the first year we did a Steam event & it received approximately 14,000 views in 2024. As TooManyGames continues to expand, we expect that the number of views for the 2025 Steam event will also grow.

    • The in-person convention will include a “highlight reel” panel that showcases all of the trailers for the accepted online and in-person video games. This panel takes place on the Friday of the convention. It will be livestreamed to the TooManyGames YouTube channel and the recording will be posted to our website after the event.

Lastly, you will also receive 2 complimentary Friday-only badges & can attend the indie game awards ceremony & social event that night (details below).

If you are accepted to the in-person showcase - your game (if it’s a video game) will be featured in the same places as the online-only showcase, as noted above.

All games (arcade, tabletop, and video game) that are showcasing in-person will receive a 10’ x 10’ floor space with:

    • One 8-foot table

    • 4 chairs

    • Pipe and drape behind your booth

    • Access to shared electricity

    • 2 complimentary 3-day badges, which include admission to the indie games awards ceremony & social event on Friday night

NOTE: In-person video games can also apply for an 8’ x 8’ space. If accepted for this space, your booth will include everything listed above, EXCEPT for the pipe and drape.

100% NO! Our showcase is very small & we always receive applications from far more games than we have space for, so we are unfortunately not able to accept most of the games that apply.

If your game is rejected from the in-person showcase, you can always re-apply for the online-only showcase (only available for video games in 2025), and we encourage you to attend the in-person event regardless! Our indie community - though small - is extremely supportive of one another & you will find yourself in good company at TooManyGames, even if you are not showcasing.

Yes. On the Friday night of the show, there will be an awards ceremony to distribute awards to some of the in-person developers in different categories. Immediately following the awards ceremony, there will be an indie developer mixer. All in-person and online showcase participants can attend both events.
